Questions we get.
- Do you support self-managed or managed cloud databases?
- Both. Self-managed on EC2, managed RDS or Aurora, Azure Database, Cloud SQL, and the equivalent across providers. Scope agreed before onboarding.
- What about major version upgrades?
- Planned during quarterly review. Test environment upgrade first, soak, dress rehearsal, then production window. Rollback tested before cutover.
- Do you cover data warehouses too?
- Data warehouses belong in /managed-services/data-platform-operations/ because the operating shape differs. Classic transactional databases belong here.
- Can you tune for read-heavy or write-heavy workloads?
- Yes. Tuning is workload-specific. Quarterly review tracks query patterns and updates the index and caching strategy.
- What happens if we migrate off?
- Runbooks, schemas, monitoring, and access controls documented. Handover to your team or the next vendor on a plan.
